Selected Accomplishments:
In 2014 I was charged with replacing a 30 year old custom written AS400 ERP system with Sage 100. As the leader of the project, I implemented the system in January and issued the first financial statements from the system within 3 working days of month end.
In 2013 I was charged with selecting a new budgeting and forecasting system. Adaptive Insights was the system that was selected at the end of 2013 and implemented in 2014 with the full year 2015 budget created in the new system.
Complete close of accounting systems and preliminary financial statements within 3 working days of month end. Prior to my arrival this process took up to 3 weeks.
Reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts. This had not been done for several months prior to my arrival.
Creation of all month end standard cost and variance calculation reports. There was no proper standard cost or variance reporting before my arrival.

Analyzed the cost and efficiency of UPS as the warehouse, comparing them to Expeditors International and made the decision to change to Expeditors. This change saved the company approximately $50,000 annually.

Implemented a new p&l review process with the operations personnel.
Successfully completed the 1999 budget process requiring significantly less overtime than was necessary in prior years. This was achieved with the installation of a new g/l system and a new reporting system were installed by IT and tested by my team.
Created and distributed p&l review procedures to operations personnel. This distribution involved field training visits and follow-up training.
Implemented the electronic distribution of p&ls to operations personnel. The training with this new procedure also required several field-training visits and in some markets we were able to combine this training with the p&l review review training.
Implemented and automated the allocation of overhead expenses using the Hyperion system allocations module. This procedure saved approximately 5 hours monthly in processing time for the allocation.
