Professional experience

1.In the field of Diabetology I achieved good experience in managing type I, II & Gestational Diabetes, diabetic complications and emergencies.

2.I exclusively managed patients attending Hypertension Clinic for a period of 3 years.

3.In the field of cardiology I handled patients with Heart failure acute, MI and other cardiac emergencies.

4.I acquired basic echo skills.

5.I managed all common medical cases attending medical OPD such as infectious diseases, bronchial asthma, COPD, liver diseases, stroke, seizures, thyroid diseases, etc. for a period of 3 years.

6.In Intensive Care Unit I got a good experience in managing poisoning cases, MI, respiratory emergencies, Coma, CNS infections and stroke. I got a good experience in managing patients on mechanical ventilator.

Procedural Skills

I had acquired good procedural skills like securing central venous access, endotracheal intubation, Lumbar puncture, thoracocentesis, and Bone marrow aspiration techniques.

Management and Organisational skills

Have been a resource person in organizing Diabetology CME and symposium in Gvmch Vellore.

Other Academical Activities

First place in S D Deodhar All India Intercollegiate postgraduate Rheumatology Quiz Competition in regional round and second place in zonal round.(September 2015)

Teaching

Theory and clinical class sessions for undergraduate medical students.
