MODERNIZED VOTING MACHINE (Main Project) JAN2014 – MAY2014

Designed and developed a voting machine to avoid fake votes by using integrated finger print scanner and RF based voter identification card.

LEAF NITROGEN DEFECIENCY LEVEL IDENTIFICATION COLOR IMAGE ANALYSIS

(Innovative Project) OCT 2014 – DEC 2014

Nitrogen deficiency leads to color change in leaf from green to yellow. The green channel from RGB color space and yellow channel from CMYK color space are extracted. The statistical and texture feature are extracted from the green and yellow channel and they are compared to get nitrogen deficiency level.

COMPUTER VISION BASED FRUIT DEFECT DETECTION AND CLASSIFICATION (Mini Project) JAN 2015 – JUNE 2015

Images of the different fruit are captured under controlled environment the infected region is segmented from the original captured images. Various features are extracted from the segmented portion and finally the extracted features given to classifier for classification.

CUCUMBER DOWNY MILDEW DISEASE DETECTION USING HYBRID SEGMENTATION AND SVM CLASSIFIER (Phase 1 Project) AUG 2015 – DEC 2015

Leaf images are captured from the agriculture field under natural environment then image quality is improved by applying filtering and contrast stretching. The infected region is segmented from the preprocessed output by applying integrated k-means and active contour technique. Multiple features such as statistical, texture and color features are extracted and classifier is trained and tested based on the extracted features.

FISH FRESHNESS EVALUATION BY IMAGE PROCESSING (Phase 2 Project) DEC 2015 - ongoing

Image of the fish with open gills is captured. Gill of the fish is segmented by using based k-means clustering segmentation. Color and Texture features are extracted from the segmented result and is given to fuzzy based classifier for identifying freshness.
