The United State Department of Agriculture (USDA), Farm Service Agency administers and manage financial, farm, commodity, credit, conservations, loan, disaster, billing and loan programs authorized by congress through a network of federal, state and county offices. Farm Services Agency's TCO (Testing and Certification Office) planned, supervised, coordinated, scheduled and staffed the acceptance testing, regression testing and volume/stress testing of custom-coded business software applications for the USDA Farm Programs.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Prepared Requirement Documentation: Analyzed, developed, documented and validate the work product of the application with Business Analyst, against the use case and Business Requirement documents as part of SDLC activity. Tested web based farmers loan processing applications to be verify the borrower eligibility for the loan and execute necessary transaction from obligation to loan close.
Executed Requirement: Used HP Quality Center and set traceability between requirements.
Created manual test cases in HP QC/HP ALM for various User Stories based on Release and Sprint Plan. Collaborated with workstation team lead to generate defect status report and metrics with HP QC ALM.
Performed Functional Responsibilities: Performed GUI Testing, System Testing, Database testing, Usability testing, Regression testing. Worked on SQL Queries, SQL Scripts and performed complete data verification of the application. Developed functionality test cases, defined exit criteria.
