Working as Trainee Engineer in SATTVA AERO ACCESSORIES & SYSTEMS PVT. LTD, a subsidiary of SATTVA/SALARPURIA Group, Bangalore - from December 2015, till date.

Sattva Aero Accessories and Systems Private Limited (Sattva AASPL) is a Sattva Group company and holds a significant position in the Aerospace sector in India for its well proven capabilities in the field of Design, Development and Production of various types of Actuators, Electrical Motors & Generators, Fuel system items and other aero-accessories. The Company is approved as Design Organization by ‘Directorate General of Civil Aviation’ (DGCA) for civil applications and by ‘Center for Military Airworthiness and Certification’ (CEMILAC) for Military applications in India. Accountable for creating 2D drawings of part & assembly with adequate manufacturing details, GD&T as per ASME Y 14.5 m 2009 standard, etc.

Responsible for Inspection of various tools and components and to assure they lie within the dimensional limits by using various instruments like micrometres, Vernier callipers, Bore gauge, slip gauge, Profile Projector, 2-D Height Gauge etc.

Actively involved in Reverse Engineering and Re-Engineering (design optimization) of product.

Developed the Fixtures for testing & Assembly.

Coordinated with production-Planning and Quality teams for product execution as per company standard & to meet customer requirement.

Co-ordinated with Assembly & testing teams.

PROJECTS:

My final year project was Mechanical Characterization of Steel AISI4340 reinforced with SiC particles Metal Matrix Composite. The aim of the project was to achieve a composite that has better mechanical properties than the base material.

I did one week implant training at Exide Batteries, Hosur. Through this I gained proficient knowledge of battery manufacturing and how an assembly line works in a manufacturing company.

Associated with the Team working on the study of muffler and it’s performance .The aim is to study the muffler design and performance and find ways to modify the muffler aiming for better noise reduction.
