Deliver electron and photon radiation treatments using a Varian 2300 Linear Accelerator through the use of IMRT and conformal treatment therapies under the guidance of the radiation oncologist. Irregular beam treatment planning such as whole brain, spine and extremity plans using Eclipse software. As well as manual electron field calculations using RadCalc.

Assist the radiation oncologist during simulation procedures using CT guided simulation with a Siemens PET/CT. Performing diagnostic CT exams for patients who are returning for follow-up visits, reconstructing CT images according to Radiologist protocols, establishing an IV site in those that are indicated as well as registering and prepping these patients for their exam.

Managing patients schedules to ensure that they are seen accordingly, coordinated with other departments and treated in a timely manner using Aria TimePlanner software and Cerner. Billing patient accounts for the appropriate charges for daily treatments, diodes, simulations and other treatment related charges using Cerner and STAR billing systems.
