Managed the security staff and the day to day operations of a 40 story multi-tenant high-rise commercial office building. Developed Standard Operating Procedures for all situations to include emergencies / security officer training / communications systems / building operations and maintenance programs / responsible for investigations and liaison between city police and fire departments and the FBI. Trained the security staff on all procedures. Had assistant hold constant training while security staff was on duty including the response to all emergency situations and written tests.
Coordinated the daily operation of a 410 space parking facility within the building. Contracted personnel to repair equipment, order all supplies needed for operations, maintained contracts with customers, self-audits of monthly parkers, rent retrieval, and all other duties assigned including 24/7 response to repair the equipment, bi-monthly reconciliation of the revenue, bank drops and area rate surveys of all competitors.
Managed two multi tenanted buildings, 1218 Chestnut St. and 1217 Sansom St., (Bailey / Biddle Buildings), as the Property Manager, involving the supplying of security personnel, engineering personnel, and all sub-contracted personnel such as plumbing, electrical, custodial, fire inspection and alarm companies along with the elevator company, rent retrieval, and all other duties as assigned for approx. two years, during my duties at 1818 Market Street.
Coordinated the operations of the building upon the direction of the GM and filled in while GM was off site. Collaborated with showing space with leasing agents, sub-contractors, i.e. Metal maintenance, concrete work, exterior problems, signage, leases, storage spaces, rent collections, tenant problems and solutions, Elevator company and all other duties as assigned. Acted as the Operations Manager when the Property Manager was on or off the property.
