Dr. Lou Penn, who is a renowned university professor in Georgia and who also wrote the Gemini Mission Programs for NASA. He developed the first friendly wellsite computer system called, 'The Logger Guard'. I was the second programmer and tech he schooled in keeping the systems running. We were on six of the deepest holes ever drilled when the price of oil plunged, but continued for a while past the crash due to extended time of drilling in those places
