Supervision of RCC activities e.g.: installing piles as par coordinate system, checking reinforcements and casting of piles and pile muff stitching, long beam, cross beam and crane beam. fixing of fender bolts to fender facia, fixing of bollards, and insert plates to slab top and testing inspection eg: testing of d-shackle.

Quality control works which involve cube testing, approval of mix design, attending trial mix activities.

Also involved in necessary approval and billing works of Deepening of Ritchie Dry Dock at MDL.

Testing of fender in manufacturer’s workshop.

Electrical works: inspection of HIGH MAST components as par specifications.

Electrical works: decision making for ELECTRICAL EARTH PITS for process of CHEMICAL EARTHING and GENERAL EARTHING.

Construction of Soda Ash Plant (Client: Nirma Ltd.) (March ’15 to November’15)

Supervision of regular RCC activities eg: installation of piles as par co ordinate system, checking reinforcements and casting of pile and pile cap, fixing of bolts and insert plates to pedestals, columns,beams and lintel beams, slabs AND structures like kiln feed, tanks and other liquid/ product retaining structures.

Construction of Berth No.3 and 4 at Dighi Port (Agardanda Terminal) (Client: M/s IL&FS Maritime Infrastructure Co. Ltd.) (2013-2015 March)

as Site Engineer fulfilling responsibilities of a piling engineer, also actively participating in quality control works, precast works, survey works, maintaining relevant documents, RFIs, BBS, Pour Cards and documents related to safety.

PILING activities (offshore piling): pile foundation works(Bored cast in situ piles) are done by shifting gantry from one bent to the next and pile boring done by rotary method, which include following:

checking of survey points by coordinate method with the help of total station

checking of MS liners at fabrication yard.

inspection of liner verticality during liner installation

checking of pile reinforcements, and bore depth

concreting activities(M40 grade)(pump concrete)

maintaining relevant documents

Witnessing of dynamic pile load tests and pile integrity tests.

Land piling activities : Bored cast-in-situ piles (boring and concreting done by rotary/percussion method) and witnessing integrity tests.

Pile Foundation work (land piling, where pile boring and concreting done by hydraulically operated rig machines), reinforcement checking and concreting . substructure works like Pile cap (M40), superstructure works eg: Pier and Pier cap (M60), Pedestal (M60): reinforcement and shuttering checking and concreting. Bearing pedestal grouting after alignment of span. Deck slab reinforcement and shuttering inspection and concreting (M60) by boom placer, Retaining wall construction, abutment and solid ramp work (including field dry density testing by sand replacement method ), expansion joints for carriageway, deck continuity and crash barriers.

Inspection of angles for expansion joints at manufacturer’s fabrication yard.

Documentation and BBS calculation/preparation for pile, pile cap, pier, deck slab, expansion joint, deck continuity and crash barrier

Segment erection works, stressing of strands, gluing activities, maintaining documents –RFIs, BBS, daily progress report for site activities .rock sample collection and lab testing for checking rock strength.
