Responsible for development of Scripted Automations using Oracle Stored Procedures & Korn Scripting that contributes to standardization of dba operations, increases safety and leads to reduction of database related tickets escalated to dba team.
Responsible for development of replication conflict handlers (Using PL/SQL) with customized business rules in Active-Active Oracle Databases having Bidirectional data flow setup using replication technologies (Streams & Golden gate).
Developing GUI based Infrastruture Topology Diagram Generation Tool using front end Jquery and PHP & Mongo database as back end. This diagram will allow the user to get a topological view of technology artifacts of any given application in Apple IS&T.
Development of database health check automations leading to auto discovery of health issues in databases in timely manner.
Development of an automatic scripted Database Forecasting utility to forecast the amount of space needed to be added to a database at the tablespace and Filesystem level including auto generation of scripts to enable space addition. It is with this background that the PSP has been initiated. As part of executing PSP, TCS has performed the data migration from the existing systems (referred to as Central Database of NIC involving millions of data) to the database implemented for Passport Seva Project (PSP).
