Software Testing & Quality Assurance (Automation testing using Selenium)

The objective of this project is to test the Shopping Lists feature on Walmart.com website. Shopping Lists is an easy way for customers to keep track of their shopping needs. It enables customers to create their own lists, add items to the list, invite additional contributors to the list and share the list.

Responsibilities:

• Performed requirements feasibility analysis for Shopping Lists feature on Walmart.com to understand various stages in STLC process

• Prepared test plan and developed test scenarios for Shopping Lists feature; identified test cases and gathered test data

• Developed automated test scripts in Java using Selenium and Eclipse IDE; performed elaborate functional testing by executing the test cases

• Performed cross-browser compatibility testing on various versions of Chrome and Firefox

The objective of this project is to test the features on Indeed.com website. This website enables job seekers to search and apply for jobs, and employers to find resumes and post jobs on the website. It provides options for job seekers to create account, save interested jobs and set alerts when new jobs are posted. There is also an advanced search option that can be used to customize the search.

Responsibilities:

• Identified and analyzed requirements to test the features- Find Jobs, Find Resumes, Employers/Post Job, Advanced Search option and creation and usage of accounts on Indeed.ca website

• Designed test plan, developed test scenarios and detailed test cases covering all the features of the application
