JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervised and coordinates plant personnel in start-up, shut-down and other major operational changes and follow PTW system.
Diagnosed and/or troubleshoots particular operating problems. Take necessary courses of action to rectify or improve situations.
Identify situation where engineering or maintenance assistance may be required.
Oversee complete plant operation to ensure safe and efficient operating procedures are followed.
Coordinate plant operations as necessary with other connected plants upstream or downstream.
Ensure accurate operating logs are maintained.
Respond to emergency or plant upset situations by shutting down plant or taking necessary action to restore normal running.
Oversee maintenance work in progress or completed within the unit. Ensures that safe procedures are adhered to and that completed work is satisfactory.
Control and maintain auxiliary equipment, such as pumps, fans, compressors, condensers, feed water heaters, filters, and chlorinators, to supply water, fuel, lubricants, air, and auxiliary power.
Monitor and inspect power plant equipment and indicators to detect evidence of operating problems.
Open and close valves and switches in sequence upon signals from other workers, in order to start or shut down auxiliary units.
Start or stop generators, auxiliary pumping equipment, turbines, and other power plant equipment, and connect or disconnect equipment from circuits.
Communicate with systems operators to regulate and coordinate transmission loads and frequencies, and line voltages.
Confirm and carry out safe isolation (electrically and mechanically) and normalizing of equipments.
Implement scheduled and emergency equipment changeovers / testing in order to ensure healthy condition of the equipment.

Gas Turbine (General Electric 128 MW) frame 9E
Gas turbine units, single shaft, heavy duty gas turbines is model of PG9171E supplied by GE (General Electric) Company along with three generators provided by GE as well 128 MW each.
Duel Fuel with DLN 1.0 and Water injection system.
