Work Experience

Intern at MSEDCL, Maharashtra, India (Sep 2013- April 2014) Gained experience and knowledge in Periodic Maintenance of lines i.e. preventive as well as breakdown maintenance. Oil value checking and testing and maintenance of the Power and Distribution Transformers. Energy audit of Distribution Transformer Energy Audit to pin point loss level pockets or detecting areas to earn Company’s revenue.

Intern at SPANCO Power Ltd. Maharashtra, India (May 2013-July 2013) Worked in 33kv Substation. Assisted Area manager during Power outages. Gained knowledge about Switchyards and substations. Coordinating Operation & Maintenance activities in major areas of Nagpur (India) PROJECTS

Simulation of IEEE papers in MATLAB/SIMULINK.(UTA) (April 2015 &Feb2016) Model making and simulation of following IEEE papers were done and result were illustrated by me. This project helped to get more acquainted with SIMULINK. IEEE paper name were as follows: A VBR Induction Model Implementation for Sim Power Systems Toolbox in Matlab/Simulink. Averaged Modelling of PWM Converters Operating in Discontinuous Conduction Mode.

Designed a typical inverse-time-overcurrent relay (CO-8) (UTA) (March 2015) A software model for the simulation of inverse time overcurrent relays was developed and tested in the MATLAB. The software model incorporates the IEEE standard curves, and is capable of modelling custom designed time current curves used for overcurrent relays.

Designed a three-phase individual controlled Fixed Capacitor-Thyristor Controlled Reactor (FC-TCR) Static VAR Compensator (SVC) (UTA) (March 2015)

To perform power factor correction and prevent negative sequence current from entering a generator. A software model was developed and tested in the MATLAB.

IEEE 30 BUS Power Flow and Fault Analysis (UTA) (Feb 2015) Simulation and analyzing system for power flow calculations, fault calculation and contingency analysis was performed by me. This project helped me to develop the concepts of load flow and also we got acquainted with Power World.

We Designed a flow measurement system, Temperature Measurement system and Traffic Light control system using PLC IP3416.(UTA) (August 2014-Dec 2014)

Ladder Logic program was originated by me according to the requirements of project and circuits were designed by us according to use PLC IP 3416 to control the traffic lights and to measure the water and temperature. SKILLS

Programming Languages: C, Ladder Logic Programming.

Tools: MATLAB, Simulink, Power World, ETAP, Lab View, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, EPS,AUTOCAD Electrical.

Certifications: FE/EIT
