SENIOR INVENTORY SUPPLY TECHNICIAN:

Inventoried and tagged Marine Corp weapons and vehicles with a new tracking tag. The IUID tag will allow better tracking of government equipment using a laser scanning gun. While at Camp Pendleton, CA, worked with a team of 8 people to go from armories to vehicle parks to inventory each piece of gear, submit requests for tags, clean the gear & apply tags. Attention to detail was of the utmost importance. Our team surpassed all other teams in gear tagged by a factor of two.

COMPUTER LAB TECHNICIAN:

New products- Set up test and troubleshoot Sun Enterprise servers. Work closely with several engineers to bring new engineering models online. Develop and run tests, gather data and put into a readable format (spread sheet, data base, web page). Load and update operating systems and test packages. Set up and run logic analyzers. Wrote simple shell scripts to simplify routine tasks.

Created test setups for new data/communication PCI cards for evaluation by engineering staff and ran SunVTS to test for usability. This resulted in increasing the network options for customers.

Sustaining Engineering- Receive direction from engineers to duplicate customer hardware & software conditions. Work with the responsible engineer to reliably duplicate the customers bug, find a fix, install the fix and continue to repeatedly test the configuration. Upon completion turn all data over to the engineer. This resulted in high customer satisfaction that led to future product purchases.

Lab Support- Evaluated and set new test equipment, repaired and created new Cat 5 cables, put new computers and test equipment onto the lab network, set up VNC sessions, maintained all Windows based machines with Windows updates and Symantec virus definitions.
