My Red Cross experience includes, five years with the Community Health Service Red Cross, Five years with the Ontario Zone Red Cross, plus one year of volunteer work in Field Operations. Prior to working with the Red Cross, I also bring with me a variety of volunteer experiences, at other reputable organizations. As a result of my volunteer experiences, I have gained skills in program planning, client intake, and also in implementing policies.
The combination of my educational background, work experiences and volunteer opportunities, has been an asset in learning how to plan, organize and apply critical thinking in complex situations. I project impressive communication skills; as well as apply crisis intervention skills. These skills, while applicable in a variety of administrative office positions, are also highly transferable in a wide range of social settings.
I am eager to contribute fresh new ideas, and work with an energetic attitude.
