Location of job/Assignment : North Chennai (Attipattu)

Tenure : 23 April 2015 – Till Date

Designation : Graduate Apprentice

Responsibilities:

1.Regular checking the parameter of the boiler and Checking the mill out let temperature

2.Periodically checking the mill lop oil condition. Monitoring the ash condition of boiler (bottom and fly ash)

3.Periodically checking the rapping mechanism of ESP.

4. Regular checking of APH Soot blower, wall blower, Long retractable soot blower.

5. Checking the furnace temperature and water wall condition during hydraulic test .

6. Inspection of drum during shut down period, turbo separators during shut down period

7. Floating of safety valves & Maintain the PA,FD,ID fans,Periodically checking the lub oil for PA,ID fans.

8. Maintain the PRDS temperature and PRDS condition also regular checking of hot air gates, dampers.

9. Checking of super heater and re-heater periodically.

10.Regular checking of mill feeder.

Name of the project:

Design and Fabrication of Water Pumping by using Wind Energy

Details:

In this project our main object is without using the hydraulic pump and any electrical instruments to pump the water from the ground level to the houses, irrigations, industries etc.,

We also reduce the cost of the wind mill and introducing new technology to convert the wind power to useful work.

PROJECT: 2

Name of the project:

Experimental evaluation of Aluminum-cu composite material to increase the mechanical properties with different composition.

Details:

Composite materials especially cu-Al2O3 having good mechanical properties compared with conventional materials. In this project we take copper and aluminum mixed in three samples of categories. There are 90-10%, 80-20%, 70-30%.

In this project finally we concluded according properties of hardness is the best in 70%-30% ratio, the best resistivity in 70%-30% ratio, as well as the impact strength good in 80%-20% ratio and if we take cost consideration 70%-30% ratio is most economical and we recommend this is the best to use as bearing bushes.
