Craft Documentation :

A detailed study of the craft of Kullu & Manali ( Himachal Pradesh ) . It included interaction with the artisans and documentation of the craft and our experience there . Line of Products were also designed which reflected our understanding of the craft and the mindset of the artisans.

Print Design

The designs were created based on the inspirations taken according to the selected themes. A range of products developed for a line of collection for various products such as swimwear, home furnishing, apparel collection.

CAD

Developed digital prints based on the theme ‘Abstract flowers ‘ for various products, developed designs for carpets using Ned graphics and Texcelle.

Surface Techniques

Explored various tie & dye techniques, embroidery, different stitches, quilting, cording. Printing techniques such as block printing, screen printing . Explorations on fabric manipulation and developed products using these techniques.

Woven Design Project

Explorations on various kinds of weaves and development of product – ‘shirting fabric’ using a theme music beat- ‘ a rug’ .

Making new products out of the waste.
