MATHEMATICS TUTOR (1/2016-Present Day)
SNOW COLLEGE Ephraim, Utah
As a math tutor, I was responsible to stay in Snow College’s Math Lab during my hours and answer any questions for students that came into the lab requesting help. I have tutored math up to a level of Calculus III (Math 2210). I also helped people with both Physics and Chemistry. This job requires the ability to focus on a specific task until the goal is complete, and to not only be able to quickly identify and solve problems, but also to explain mathematic principles in a way that is clear and easy for others to understand. ZIP-LINE GUIDE (7/2015-8/2015)
MOUNTAIN SPRINGS LODGE Leavenworth, Washington
Working as a zip-line guide at mountain springs lodge, I had many tasks to do. First of all was routine checks on harnesses, gear, and other equipment. The most important part of the job was making sure that the customers were always safe. I would insure this by aiding the customers in putting on their gear, instructing them how to safely use it, and being in control of their harnesses and safety lines when on the course. This job requires you to be physically fit, as there is a lot of hiking involved, and to have knowledge of the outdoor equipment used.
EMPLOYEE (5/2015)
BLISS HONEY Oak City, Utah
I did various jobs working at Bliss Honey. As an employee I was available to do any task given to me. I mainly worked in the company’s wood shop constructing bee hives. I worked various wood working machines, lifted heavy boards, used a nail gun, and constructed frames for boxes. I listened and followed directions thoroughly on a day to day basis, as my tasks would change often. I was responsible for working an end bar machine that was very temperamental and required trouble shooting and fixing very often I stacked boards and moved stacks using a hand driven fork lift cart.
