Data is being processed through our internal system called ‘Job Scheduler’ that handles input, CASS, pre-composition, build-ID, proof, presort and composition. I mostly work on SQL Server Management Studio 2008 using Store Procedures, Tables, Functions and Databases. SSIS Packages are extensively used to create PDFs and final output print files to print out our final products. Each step in our Job Scheduler is associated with SQL Server 2008 and DTSX (SSIS) packages. I am responsible for creating or modifying Store Procedures, SSIS Packages based on the requirements from the clients. SQL agent has been used for the automation to start our process automatically. HP Exstream 8.0 is our design, print software used to create various PDF designs for multiple clients before we finally print our books, kits, letters, ID Cards and other statements in our print and delivery department. As a Data/Exstream developer I take part to manipulate data using matrix data tables that we receive periodically from the clients. I load data into the tables and process them through our SSIS packages and Store Procedures called in the packages to get our final output.
