Software Developer at HSBC GLT, India June 2014 – December 2014

On boarded a team building Insurance registration website for HSBC to replace a website build in Mainframes. Work in Agile Framework, in three weeks’ scrum.

Technologies involved: Core Java, spring, Hibernate, PL/SQL, and Shell Scripting.

On behalf of my team interact with the Graphical development team and help them design the user interface according to the requirements as discussed with the business.

Developed a small application for developers in Java Swift for data manipulation at backend for testing and development purpose.

Software Developer at Tech Mahindra, India August 2011 – May 2014

Worked to develop Employment quality management System in Java rail road company Union Pacific Rail Road (UPRR), wherein UPRR managers and supervisors can keep a track of employees and their activities through web application or Portlets.

Worked closely with the client, Testers in a fast paced agile environment to achieve the product requirements and acceptance criteria.

Java Spring (IoC, Jdbc) was the primary framework used to build the application, with HTML5, Ricola Framework for UI, with oracle in the backend.

Unit testing and end-to-end testing were the other job responsibilities, which were handled in a test-driven development approach.

Academic Projects

Student Social Website created using Buddypress called Edu Avenue, a website which provides students a platform for communicating and gathering information which will help them decide the right University developed in PHP and MySQL. Order Taxi website a cab booking website. Where user could book a cab or even become a driver. User was able to give feedback, rate the ride, rate the driver/customer, and check the cost of ride before confirming a ride. Used to Google maps API to show map and the route to customer. Developed using PHP, MySQL and HTML/CSS Trojan ware designed a phishing page using JSF, used as a gateway to inject the victim’s system with Trojan to spy and remotely control developed using Python.

E Commerce web application created using Java, JSP, Servlets, MySql which had functionality of posting on Facebook and recommend your friends and email activation.

Awards and Recognitions

Received awards like Pat on Back and Bravo for outstanding work for UPRR for delivering before time with zero defect rates.

Received Excellence award for best performance in the JAVA training.
