Selected Requirements:
Create an atmosphere(relationships) and conditions where employees are encouraged to work safely and to address health, safety, security, environmental issues;
Facilitate compliance with the NINA (No accident no injuries) principles;
Advise and support Vessel Masters, Managers, Superintendents and Supervisors on the various project worksites, assisting them in ensuring that the works are executed in accordance with the Project HSES requirements, such as: HSES Risk Assessments (Hazids), and the interpretation of legislation and standards.
Assist in the preparation of SWMS, Risk assessments, Hold Toolbox meetings etc.; Induct, instruct and maintain records of new project personnel, Subcontractors, key suppliers, visitors and third parties;
Perform random project (vessel) spot-checks, site inspections and Audits to verify compliance with local state and Federal HSE Legislation;
Advise and support the project team / vessel masters in reporting and investigating accidents, incidents, damages, environmental losses and near misses;
Record, review and report the HSES performances achieved on the Project;
Assess Subcontractor employees to verify their compliance to the applicable project HSES regulations;
Coordinate with the supervisors in the preparation and checking of the work permits/SIMOPS.
DREDGING INTERNATIONAL, Wheatstone project Onslow – International dredging and marine construction company

During my time with Dredging International I have worked on three projects around Australia, Port Hedland outer harbor, Gladstone Vodi and the Wheatstone project. I was the lead Safety advisor on the Outer Harbor and Wheatstone projects as I helped to put in in place the infrastructure to start the project

Was the Senior Safety advisor on numerous projects within Western Australia. I was responsible for the daily HSES compliance and reporting for the mine. Undertook Investigations and was responsible for the timely close outs of outstanding actions arising from the investigations.
