Reporting to the COO/VP/Owner and responsible for a complete rework of the IT infrastructure including hardware, software, domains and DNS, migrating existing systems, updating the desktop workspace and hardware, and renegotiating broadband and phone services. Leading a small IT team and contractors, manage all IT budgeting and forecasting.
Virtualized all production servers to Microsoft Hyper-V. Repurposed existing physical servers into a 5-node Windows Server 2008R2 Hyper-V Failover Cluster, backed against an HP 4500 G2 Virtualization SAN. This process allowed for a fourfold capacity increase without additional server hardware purchases.
Migrated from Exchange Server 2003 to 2010, Microsoft SQL 2003 to 2008R2.

Product: Forefront Identity Manager (FIM) / Identity Lifecycle Management (ILM). Responsible for preparation and running of all test passes, Development, Beta, and Release milestone testing, deploying Exchange 2007–2010, SharePoint 2007-2010, IIS6 & IIS7, SQL 2005-2010 in the Testing Topologies.
Developed a Microsoft Hyper-V solution that reduced Build Verification Tests (BVTs) topology deployments from 23 hours to 45 minutes and doubled the pools of available topologies on existing hardware. The result added the potential to run BVTs 4x in a single day vs. the prior schedule of a run every 7-10 business days.
Duplicated the process to include Full Test Pass (FTP) topologies in the 9 supported languages and built out two full topologies, resulting in performing FTP runs 2-3x weekly vs. 1-2x monthly on existing hardware.

Product: Visual Studio 2008–2010. Contracted into this new position created to coordinate lab resources among multiple teams for software testing, which ran on an internal Microsoft proprietary software automation harness. Responsible for creating, supporting, and installing test runs, and troubleshooting for several MS products in various stages of development (SQL Server 2008, Visual Studio 2008-2010, Silverlight, .Net 2.0-4.0); Bug regression testing across all architectures. Participated in Daily/Weekly Scrum reporting. Leveraged in-depth knowledge of networking, multi-domain environments, operating system setup & configuration, as well as application installation to provide QFE & NDP deliverables on tight schedules.
Ensured test runs adhered to Divisional reporting requirements for milestone Test Passes.
Oversaw conversion/upgrade of groups’ needs to new QA standards, new versions of automation harness and Universal Installer; earned the title of the “Go To” person for test run needs.

Product: Exchange Server Product Group, Deployment division. Specializing in Foreign Connectors and Migration area. Executed test plans during all pre-release and release phases of product. Involved in Service Pack and QFE deliverables for domestic and foreign corporations.
Tested migration of email accounts between Exchange and Foreign Mail Systems; Created foreign server topologies with IBM Domino and NetWare Servers; Ran Automated Testing and Topology roll outs.

Setup: Interviewed and hired over 100 contract testers; Managed a team of 30 contractors. Implemented main hardware lab inventory structure for improved tracking of computers and hardware components to facilitate location and usage to reproduce incoming problem reports.
Application Compatibility Reproduction: Led 15+ contract testers representing 8 languages; Partnered with Internet Explorer Development and Testing teams for issue resolution, including Windows 98/SE updated product code.
