Strata Geosystems India Pvt. Ltd. is a part of Strata Inc. (USA), Glen Raven Inc.. Strata is one of the largest manufacturer of Geogrid & Geotextiles in the world. Also, the largest contracting firm building Reinforced carriage way for bridges in India.

• Managed the Human resource allocation from the headquarters in Mumbai and frequent site visits across the nation. Reported and directly assisted to Chief Operations Officer.

• Executed the change in work order schedule on weekly basis. Updated the schedule of project from bi-weekly report. Co-ordinated with our on-site team and client for weekly look ahead schedule on project. Vrunda Developers, Baroda, India June 2013 – April 2014 Assistant Civil Engineer

Major residential building firm in the vicinity. Project of 6 residential buildings worth approx. $10 million.

• Analyzed the structural & architectural drawings of a four-storey residential building in order to assist and supervise weekly targets to contractor. Created diagonal cross-checking diagrams in Auto CAD for placing footings & Columns. Worked on behalf of owner, technical marketing to customers on site about the specifications

ACADEMIC PROJECTS

Library Construction, Brooklyn, NY Jan 2016 – May 2016 To construct two-storey library building built on a four-acre lot. Budget of Project is $20 million and duration 15 months.

• Prime Scheduler for project, to create and update schedule after delays are intentionally applied to initial schedule, resource and cost allocation to be updated so as the project completes within time and budget.

• Perform risk analysis for each activity on schedule via Earned Value Management method. Residential Building, Brooklyn, NY Sep 2015 – Dec 2015 Develop BIM based software systems for Integrated Project Delivery of a six-storey residential building.

• Developed model in Revit, create primary schedule in Primavera P6 and model based estimate in Vico Estimator.

• Performed clash detection for MEP models in Autodesk Navisworks and rectified model.

• Finally, merged every activity on schedule with it’s associated component in model via Synchro software (BIM) for 4D simulation and also generated cash flow report. Improvement of Bearing Capacity using Geogrid – State of the Art, Gujarat, India Dec 2012 Final year research project was selected for presentation and published paper at International conference of Innovative Technologies in Engineering & Science, ITES.

• The project was focused on how to increase the bearing capacity of soil by using Geotextile & Geogrid for the soil near river. Determined the most efficient number of layers to be arranged so that bearing capacity of soil is highest by performing load bearing tests in a custom built module. INTERESTS AND LANGUAGE SKILLS
