Tennessee Task Force One (City of Memphis, Division of Fire Services) Manages Urban Search and Rescue Cooperative Agreements/Program from application and award through execution and closeout, and budget development. Coordinates administrative staff in day to day operations to maintain compliance with statement of work. Primary liaison with vendors and sponsoring agency for billing, contract management, deployment reimbursement packages, and reimbursement of federal funds back to the City of Memphis Fire Services. Responsible for tracking and compliance with OMB circulars for all grant funding and tracking of more than $3 million in cache equipment, warehouse and office building and federal funding. Responsible for day-to-day operation of Task Force.
● Created and implemented new policies and procedures for tracking manual for grant funds, warehouse equipment and consumables. Established clear expectations for stewardship of all properties. Member and a lead instructor since 2005 for the development and delivery for the grants management course being developed for the Urban Search and Rescue system for all 28 task forces. Significantly assisted in the development of the grants management reference manual for the national Urban Search and Rescue task forces.
