Profile
A self motivated and enthusiastic engineer able to work under pressure and evolve in rapid pace. Having lived and educated myself in various countries enable me to work under multidisciplinary and multinational environments.
Education
2010 – 2015 Meng in Mineral Resources Engineering (G.P.A: 7.11/10 - 3rd best)
School of Mineral Resources Engineering, Technical University of Crete, Greece
BSc Thesis: Evaluating of the different methods for predicting oil density at reservoir conditions. (Grade: 10/10)
2006 – 2009 High School
Third High School of Agion Anargiron, Greece
Work Experience
Summer 2014 Internship at Grecian Magnesite S.A. (Greece)
Worked in the extraction department. Designing the optimal blasting method and supervising the production process under the guidance of a Master Mechanic. Achieving best grain size measurements for maximising production process with the minimum cost.
Summer 2013 Internship at EXTRACO S.A. (Greece)
Manage and determine the best profitable production process. Specialisation in liquid chromatography, HPLC (one of the only two in Greece) through the daily quality control. Also I managed to strengthen the company’s relationship with the existing partners as well as bring in a contract deal of 1 million euros.
Summer 2012 Internship at LARCO G.M.M.S.A. (Greece)
Worked in the department of the Rotary Kilns and Pelletizing of the Larymna plant. Supervising the production process under the guidance of a Master Mechanic (determine the best raw materials mixing, the formation of the metallurgical mixture, the Rotary Kilns operation parameters and metallurgical process inside them, the function of the dedusting systems and the handling of the collected (dry and wet) dust).
Winter 2010 Volunteer work at Kounoupidiana Middle School
Assisting children in Remedial Classes in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
Projects
Advisor and Guest Attendee to 3rd Balkans Oil & Gas Summit (http://www.balkanssummit.com/), organised by UK based International Research Networks (IRN)
Directly involved in the production and thematics of this established event focusing on hydrocarbon opportunities and activities in the Balkans Region.
I had the opportunity to discuss regional issues and opportunities with Trans Adriatic Pipeline's CEO, Kjetil Tungland, Greek Minister of Energy Ioannis Maniatis, Repsol's Exploration Director Max Torres, Croatian and Montenegrin Deputy Ministers of Economy, Alen Leveric and Vladan Djurovic, as well as 400 more high level speakers and delegates.
Predicting the phase behavior of hydrocarbons via PVTLab simulator (CMG). Achieving and evaluating the optimum separation conditions of reservoir oil coexisting with a gas cap to maximize the oil productivity.
Laboratory PVT and advanced fluid studies to provide high-quality results for the best recovery of hydrocarbons.
