Postpartum unit/Escort
I first began as an escort, directing patients to their desired locations within the hospital. I later was able to join the Couplet Care unit (Post-partum care) where I attended the patient’s needs by providing beverages, gowns, and food. I also prepared rooms for new admissions for both vaginal births and Cesarean section deliveries. I provided brochure packets for patients upon discharge on educational factors such as “The Prevention of SIDS” and “Car Seat Safety.”
Volunteer at St. Mary’s Food Bank
I volunteered at the St. Mary’s Food Bank, where I had the opportunity to serve food to the less fortunate.
