Provided technical recommendations following analysis on upgrade and improvement on Claro’s GPRS/ UMTS core data network and RF planning for KPIs improvement and optimization for Ericsson’s GGSNs and SGSNs, RANs and interfaces to RNC, MSCs, HLRs and use of Ericsson’s libraries.

•Optimized the UMTS network so that average wait time was reduced from 30 minutes to zero minute for network access.

•SGSN Tools I created allowed customers to correct network faults immediately versus waiting for Ericsson to come at year end to analyze and correct problems.

•Created GPRS KPI report and Unix scripts and used Ericsson tools to monitor and augment GPRS/HSPA data throughput and general capacity improvement in the core multi-media (MMS) network and performed down tilt RF tests on Ericson UMTS cell

•Completed technical analysis of all GGSN/SSGN interfaces connections (Lu, li, Gn, lur,) to core network elements while providing technical resolutions to questions to revenue-impacting issue. Performed data analysis and provided technical architectural proposals and improved system by 70%”GPRS/WCDMA data throughput and SQL based performance reports on SGSNs and BSS and UTRAN KPI Analysis and reduced attach rates by 60%.

Metafos Inc. – Bellevue, WA 1994 - 2001
