Supervised major onsite maintenance operations. Coordinated and scheduled work assignments for individuals on projects, as well as the equipment and materials required. Each day I informed the Crew Supervisor about progress of the projects. Assisted in the training of new employees on safety rules, equipment, operations, etc. I hired, fired, promoted, demoted, and disciplined employees.

In the absence of the Crew Supervisor, I assumed the duties of the Crew Supervisor.

I was responsible for assuring that good safety methods and practices were being used for the travelling public, as well as employees being protected from unreasonable hazards. When necessary, I reported lack of safety equipment.

I ensured courtesy to public at all times so that no complaints of discourtesy would be received.

Upon being alerted by the main office, Area Supervisor, or the Crew Supervisor, I assumed control of men and equipment for scheduled shifts in emergency operations.

When I was not supervising, I worked as a member of my crew.
