I am skilled in working with hand tools, welding, repairing small engines, and general mechanics; as well as equipment repair and operation. I also have painting, remodeling and “make ready” experience as well. I have attended Tulsa
Welding School. I have excellent customer service skills I am an extremely dedicated and hard worker. I have excellent problem solving skills and I don’t stop until the job is done. I have spent some time in the military and have maintained the military work ethic throughout my work history.
Most recently I have been working as a parts puller for Superior Auto Salvage and Recycling. I was responsible for locating and pulling vehicle parts for all customers that called or came in daily. I was also responsible for organizing and maintaining the back workshop and readying parts for sale. I worked here for one year. I also worked at Midwestern Auto Salvage for a year prior to Superior doing the same job.
Prior to the salvage yards I worked as a sub-contractor for Affordable Auto
as an auto mechanic, and general handy man. I was there for a year. Prior to Affordable Auto I worked at Chrome Shop Specialist in Tulsa Oklahoma. My official job title there was a Polisher and Buffer. My duties were to prepare surfaces for further finishing. I used hand tools to grind, buff, and polish surfaces to correct defects including cracks, and remove excess material or burrs from surfaces by trimming, scraping and debarring them. I also used chemicals and solutions to aid in my work. I was responsible for reading work orders to determine the parts to be polished, and ensured grinding and polishing standards were met. I verified the quality of the finished product. I was the top hand in the shop. I worked there for twelve (12) years from August 2001 to August 2012; when they
went out of business.
