I am currently a student at the University of Alabama, pursuing a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. I have a B.S. in Mathematics from Sewanee: The University of the South. I am proficient in critical mathematical analysis, weighing alternatives, and presenting reasoned arguments. I am also adept in material balance, heat and mass transfer, and unit operations. My goal is to gain experience in the profession and to become a well-respected member of the chemical engineering community.

Professional Experience
Store Manager, Momma Goldberg’s Deli – Tuscaloosa, AL
(February 2014 to December 2015)
Managed store and led employees in day-to-day operations. Efficiently moved product, while maintaining health code and customer service standards. Directed kitchen hands to keep work pace and to maintain product and cleanliness efficiency. Acted as liaison between employees and store owner.
Assistant High School Wrestling Coach, George Walton Academy – Monroe, GA
(October 2012 to December 2013)
Executed efficient practices with well-organized drills, as well as maintained a coherent relationship with student-athletes. Duties included demonstrating techniques and proper maneuvers, while leading and teaching life lessons.
Activities/Honors
Leadership
-Member of Student Alumni Leadership Council (SALC) at Sewanee: The University of the South. Acted as liaison between alumni and students to provide quality feedback on alumni donations and development with the university.
-Captain of the football team for Sewanee: The University of the South. Awarded second team All-Conference (2010, 2011) and USA College Sports Senior All-American. Balanced 30+ hours a week and acted as a liaison between players and coaches, while enhancing my time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
-Member of the Omega chapter of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. Held positions of chaplain (2011), pledge educator (2011), and environmental chair (2010). As chaplain and pledge educator, I communicated with and led members to uphold the traditions and beliefs of the fraternity, while educating new members on the history of the organization. As environmental chair, I implemented a recycling system within the fraternity, as well as worked in tandem with the university to clean a section of road to create a more aesthetic campus.
Presentation
-Presented senior thesis at Sewanee: The University of the South on the Combinatorics of Fibonacci Numbers. Organized presentation and structured speech to develop proofs and analyze the theory of Binet's formula to an audience of professors and colleagues.
Volunteer Work
-Helped to lead renovation efforts for a little league ball park in Sewanee, TN to enhance the community and to provide better facilities and environment for the little league program (2010-2011).
-Constructed fraternity into a haunted house for charity to engage community members of all ages for a good cause (2009-2011).
