MANAGEMENT

I have been a manager in both retail and hospital settings. My managerial style is compassionate yet firm. I am adamant about practicing pharmacy within the confines of the law. Also, I always approach managing and performing pharmacy duties with ethics as the fore thought.

SALES

I have been the manager of an independent pharmacy that required that I generate business and sale over the counter products to boost sales. Sales is an essential part of retail pharmacy. After patient care, sales is the next important component in a successful pharmacy practice.

COMMUNICATION

Communication is one of the keys to a successful business. I have a professional demeanor when speaking with staff, customers, patients and other healthcare providers. Effective communication aids in patient compliance and positive patient outcomes.

LEADERSHIP

Leadership is a major part of my work style. I have been a pharmacy manager, pharmacist-in-charge and a director of a small hospital pharmacy department.

Outside of work I have held numerous leadership positions: Girl Scout leader, director of a pee wee cheer program, cheerleading coach, President of cheer booster club and Vice President of Membership and Fundraising with PTA.

I was also director and choreographer of praise dance at church.

STAFF PHARMACIST- CVS PHARMACY- JANUARY 2015 TO PRESENT

I floated to various locations filling scripts and filling in for staff for 4 months

I am a staff pharmacist now and I fill scripts, supervise technicians, maintain inventory, adhere to a strenuous company policy regarding continued education and company regulations. I foster positive relationships with patients and other healthcare professionals.

PHARMACIST IN CHARGE U.S. PHARMACY, INC. SEPTEMBER 2009 TO JANUARY 2015

I opened a second location of an independent inside of a grocery store. I worked alone until business picked up and I had a technician 3 days a week. I was responsible for every aspect of the pharmacy – inventory, reimbursement, counseling, medication review, cleaning the pharmacy, building clientele and forging community relationships.

RELIEF PHARMACIST RX SOLUTIONS MARCH 2005 TO DECEMBER 2009

I worked in various settings for this company. I was relief for Parkland Hosptial, Baylor Healthcare System, Cook Children’s Hospital, Costco Pharmacy, various long term care facility pharmacies and numerous independent retail pharmacies. I traveled around the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and in Waco, Texas and Spring, Texas.

PHARMACY MANAGER MINYARD’S PHARMACY FEBRUARY 2001 TO FEBRUARY 2005

I worked as a two-pharmacist team for this grocery store pharmacy. I began as an assistant and progressed to the manager position. My duties included scheduling, managing inventory, attend store meetings, represent the store at regional meetings, team management, regulatory compliance and filling prescriptions.
