Job and activities are as “Marine Geophysicist” at NIO Karachi Pakistan from October 2005 to till now.

I have a vast experience in Pakistan Continental Shelf Extension Program as Marine Geophysicist and contributed a main role in analyzing Bathymetry data, MCS 2D Seismic data interpretation and sediment thickness calculation as well delimitation of Pakistan Maritime Boundaries. I have also played a main role in the final stages of the Continental Shelf Extension Project in United Nation, New York, USA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Reviewing of previous Geological & Geophysical Data on going national interest project “survey for the Establishment of continental Shelf Project of Pakistan in accordance with CLCS-11 and provisions of article 76 of UNCLOS-82. Sequence Stratigraphy, sediment Thickness calculation.
2.Technical involvement in Pakistan claim for the delimitation of Continental Shelf in the project “Survey for the Establishment of Continental Shelf Project of Pakistan” in accordance with CLCS-11 of article 76 of UNCLOS-82.
3.Tieing up of geophysical data with geological data W.R.T well data.
4.Marking of target horizons with the help of geological & geophysical data.
5.Preparation of depth structure maps and calculation of sediment thickness.
6.Interpretation of Seismic data for different projects and for the research purposes.

4.Participated as a member of NIO team in an Oceanographic Cruise on S/V Behr Paima of Pakistan Navy, from 24th April, 2013 to 29th April, 2013.
5.Participated as a member of NIO team in an Oceanographic Cruise on S/V Behr Paima of Pakistan Navy, from 03rd March, 2011 to 11th March, 2011.
6.Participated in a scientific team of oceanography on R/V Dr. Fritdjof Nansen from November 02, 2010 to November 21, 2010.
7.Participated in Drilling operation on Aquamarine Driller, conducted by Eni Pakistan in the Indus Delta during January-February 2010.
8.Participated seismic acquisition survey as observer in offshore Veitanm on M/V Nordic Venturer from November 29-December 27, 2008. The survey was conducted by TGS Nopec Geophysical Company and the contractor was Nordic Maritime Agency.
9.Participated seismic acquisition survey in Indus Delta on R/V GeoBaltic from October-November 2007. The survey was conducted by ENI of Pakistan and the contractor was Fugro GeoTeam .
10.Participated in a seismic acquisition survey in Indus Delta A on M/V Geomariner December 2006 to January 2007. The survey was conducted by OGDCL of Pakistan and the contractor was Sea Bird Exploration.
11.Participated in Bathymetric survey for the establishment of continental shelf of Pakistan project from October 06, 2006 to November 10, 2006 on French vessel Le Suroit of IFREMER.
