ATG Ecommerce Re-platform Project:

The Ecommerce data required to define the customer was first brought into the EDW as part of the EDW Release 3 – Customer. As a result of the Ecommerce re-platform work from Blue Martini to Oracle ATG there was impact on the EDW receiving this data. As a result the project 3350M was created to handle the Ecommerce/EDW Integration from an alternate source. This requirement consists of the loading of Ecommerce Profile, orders and offers data from ATG to the EDW in replacement of the data currently loaded from Blue Martini to EDW. Offer master data from Offer engine and ARC were also brought into EDW as part of this project.

Responsibilities:

Participated in project kickoff, design review, resource allocation and key milestones and deliverables meetings.

Set up daily working session to make sure we implement like for like implementation of ATG to EDW. Also understand the business requirement for the marketing intelligence.

The objectives of the project (Test Data Privacy (Data Mart) and Access Online (Mainframe)) were to minimize the risks of unauthorized disclosure of U.S. Bank Customer Confidential and U.S. Bank Confidential information used and stored in testing environments or to unauthorized individuals. Informatica Power Center 8.5.1/7.1.3 and Power Exchange Change Data Capture (CDC) 8.5.1 were used effectively for data sanitization in all U.S. Bank testing environments to ensure effective protection of customer and other sensitive U.S. Bank information. Description: Over the years, American Express has used a variety of data integration technologies to transform and translate data for its clients, including Data Junction and Mercator. The purpose of this project is to standardize various existing data integration processes that are currently running on Data Junction and Mercator mappings on American Express’s data integration technology standard to Informatica mappings. The source for these mapping are in unstructured format. Using Complex Data Exchange we are converting the unstructured data into a structured format. In Informatica we are calling this Complex Data Exchange object using Complex Data Transformation.
