The University of Texas at Dallas Richardson, TX
Master of Science, Electrical Engineering (GPA: 3.42) May 2016 Taiyuan University of Technology Taiyuan, China
Bachelor of Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Automation (GPA: 3.46) July 2014 ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE
The University of Texas at Dallas
1) Fast Charging of Electric Vehicle Design
l Analyzed DC fast charging level, status and standards. l Modeled and simulated two charger systems and three charger converter topologies by using Matlab. l Proposed some impacts on power gird.
2) Close-loop Brushless DC Motor Control Design
l Analyzed general Brushless DC motor control theory. l Proposed two control strategies: single closed-loop speed control and double closed-loop speed control. l Simulated two strategies by using Matlab.
3) Distributed Power Generation Systems Project
l Analyzed main technical challenges when build distributed power generation system. l Designed different control models--PQ control and VF control for different power generations. l Created distribution network model by using Matlab. Taiyuan University of Technology
Analysis of Three-Phase Adaptive Reclosure Fault
l Discussed distinction in electrical quantities of transmission lines with/without shunt reactor in single-phase and three-phase two aspects.
l Proposed a feasible scheme using faulted phase terminal voltage and magnitude current in shunt reactor to identify fault types for practical application of adaptive reclosing. l Verified the reliability of the scheme by using ATP-EMTP and reliability > 95%. PROFESSIONAL SKILLS
