Project Description: This project handles feedback and surveys in a company. There can be employee initiated surveys and company surveys. An employee can ask feedback directly from another employee through a survey, and the company can initiate surveys in order to get feedbacks from all the employees.

Re-designed and implemented a user friendly, lightweight interface making use of bootstrap and html.

Used HighCharts to graphically represent the survey information from various surveys conducted by individuals and by the company as a whole.

Designed and implemented 50 % of the backend functionalities one of which was creating a discussion board used in the application to facilitate exchange of messages between various members of the company.

Projects

Social Media Management (ongoing): This is a system implemented using Spring (Spring boot, Spring social, Spring security). Its main functionality is to manage the social presence of a company. Currently it can manage facebook, twitter and instagram and from the application you can view your users, your posts, and post a message or create an advertisement to be posted on your social profile. Further improvements will be to study consumer behavior and do target marketing with the help of machine learning and/or statistical methods.

User based smart learning system (ongoing): This is a system which helps the user to study a particular course as available in the course catalog. In this project I was the team leader and both back-end and front-end developer. Course material are stored on the file system and are given to the user accordingly. The peculiarity of this system is that it uses certain machine learning algorithm in order to classify the user and determine his level of understanding in the subject or course he choses to learn. Depending on the classification outcome the course material appropriate to that particular user is dispensed. It is implement in Java(jsp, servlets) and a multi-layer perceptron (Weka, JavaML) is used for the classification.

RestFul Webservice implemeted using springMVC. A web service that provides functionalities such as adding a company, add company owners, delete a company, list the company owners, list the various companies and more. It is consumed using angularJS on the frond end.

Digital Image Processing System (ongoing): It is implemented in Java and it implements the image processing functions on digital images. Functions such as histogram analysis, contrast, stretching, image restoration, image compression and different techniques of image enhancement.

Website development for Afriland First Bank: Team leader and at the same time developer in a group of 2 during which we developed a website for Afriland first bank as a summer project at PKFokam Institute of Excellence. The aim was to show the different services offered by the bank, allow online registration and make available bank services to customers. Languages and technologies used include PHP, CSS, HTML, EZpublish, MYSQL and Apache web server.
