I am a BE/Mechanical Engineer with over all work experience of 5 years. I am currently working as Production Engineer in Plastochem Fabrication Pvt. Ltd. (Mysore). I started my career with Annai Color Coats (Chennai) as Unit Supervisor and had great time in learning about Production Unit and Control Measurements. Also I took part in quality and production inspection. Later I moved to Ewac Alloys Limited as Ewac Field Engineer in off roles. Here I participated in activities like maintenance, strategy & material planning, unit inspections in all process industries by maintenance and repair welding alloys covering Cement, Sugar, Rubber, Pulp...etc with optimistic customer relationship. Presently, I am a part of the Production in Plastochem Fabrication Pvt Ltd. My daily activities include designing, fabrication, erection & commissioning, cost planning and priority scheduling. Manpower planning, Reverse Engineering with Process Equipments, Design of equipments with respect to civil layouts

Designation: Assistant Production Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

Designing and implementing cost-effective equipment modifications to help improve safety, reliability and throughput

Draft and design product layouts and schemes using customer specification and recommendations.

Research structural materials and components in order to enhance production and remove inefficiencies.

Use CAD software to draft models, design stress tests and ensure system integrity.

Reverse Engineering of Process Equipment tools to analyze its components and working in detail

Involving in Quality Planning and Quality Inspection Activities.

Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications

Involved in fabrication of Scrubber, Fume hood, mixer settler, Storage Tanks, Blower, Chimney, Ducting

Acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, crafts people and operatives

Agreeing a price for materials, and making cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended project

Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project

Liaising with the local authority (where appropriate to the project) to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws

Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors

Planning the work and efficiently organizing the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines.

Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site.

Preparing reports as required.

Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
