Role: Associate Engineer
Worked as an Associate Engineer in Airport Authority of India for a period of 1 year.
Job duties included working and maintenance in CNS (Communication, Navigation and surveillance) department.
Worked in maintaining CNS equipment such as RADAR (secondary and primary), ILS, DVOR, AMSS etc.
Creating records of the readings and monitoring the equipments.
Part of the IT team installing and configuring the windows/linux platform and updating them periodically with better systems while using minimum capital.
Worked in maintaining the database and data analysis of all the records using SQL.
Creating quality check sheets and records for inspections and maintenance.
Academic Projects:
Physical Layer Simulation of a Simplified LTE OFDM.
BER simulations of BPSK, QPSK,16-QAM were done in various channels and also with two-antenna transmit diversity using Alamouti transmission scheme. Implemented OFDM Modulator and modulator for various modulation schemes in the presence of AWGN and Rayleigh channels, and observed the improvement of MIMO over SISO System.
Analysis of data packets over Internet:
Analyzed sequences of messages exchanged between two various protocols entities after capturing data packets using ‘Wireshark’ software such as DHCP, ICMP, HTTP and TCP.
LTE Coordination of Multiple Points (COMP):
It will increase data transmission rates and help ensure consistent service quality and throughput on LTE wireless broadband networks as well as on 3G networks.
Undergraduate Level Projects:
Cloud Computing.
The project is used to help the visually impaired and blind individuals. It consists of SURF algorithm which matches the incoming image to the image present in the data base. This is used in android mobile phones; it emphasizes the use of tele assistance. The images are stored in Cloud and compared in the cloud using SURF algorithm.
Micro-controllers.
Project on Museum security systems consists of micro-controllers. It uses 8051 micro-controllers along with zig-bee modules and 7-segment display. The system gets on if the item is removed from its position and using zigbee modules it is determined.
