• Held budget responsibility for up to $290M, while managing up to 28 direct reports and holding oversight of up to 40 professional staff.
• Delivered engineering solutions to complex problems that have reduced time and improved production capabilities.
• Key player with a successful track record of delivering projects on-time and within budget constraints.
• Met and exceeded performance goals that boosted performance, leading to cost saving and increased revenues.
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS
• Tasked with a project to provide water from a company-owned lake above the timber line, no power available and needed to be hidden from the public. Researched 1930 site drawings and designed a functional apparatus over six months. Completed project on time and within budget. Achieved accolades for an outstanding job.
• Turned around struggling project that was running late and previous engineer had been removed at the request of the client. Redesigned and corrected many design issues to meet NFPA codes. Brought project back on track and delivered four months early.
• Charged with designing and receiving the required FAA approval for a lighting system for a 350 foot+ exhaust stack. Researched requirements and identified a rule allowing construction without having to be painted. Achieved FAA approval quickly and saved the company more than $350K in one month.
• Recruited to address a “special product” to reduce the order entry and manufacturing time. Developed a streamlined sales entry program, enabling the entry of the order for engineering and manufacturing into one procedure. Reduced manufacturing time by one week, saving $300K and turned “special product” into a standard product.
• Challenged with preserving local vegetation and landscape while designing and converting a cement manufacturing plant in Florida from a wet to dry process. Led team of five engineers, designing all electrical power and control systems for all buildings. Completed construction for the electrical portion 30 days early.

• Led construction and electrical engineering project for the design of a double-decker, sixteen car train, containing three 740 KW diesel generators and two 500 KW HEP generators – a $160M project. Worked with team to exceed installations required by NEC and AAR over one year. Completed project within budget and on time.
