MS Cloud is a companywide corporate BI solution that provides insight on Cloud online revenue, primarily focused on Office 365. The data is exposed through a variety of reporting platforms including FBI Standard Reports, AU Data book, FBI Direct to Cube, EAF, ROB scorecards to their users. Before the data gets exposed through the reporting platforms, needs to be validated so that the cube data and the reporting data matches.

It includes testing a wide variety of applications like Silverlight, XNA games, native C++ applications, Bluetooth and navigation related apps etc. A variety of mobile devices with different screen resolutions, different memory size and manufacturers as well as virtual environments such as hyper-v are used.

For any blocking bugs, analyze the implementation in conjunction with state of data and that of hardware as a preliminary troubleshooting/root cause analysis. Implement and document available workarounds or, if none available, escalate with appropriate priority.

This project was a web based application and the primary purpose was to allow the users to download Microsoft products from the Internet. My primary responsibilities involved testing a major release for software that would enable end users to download Microsoft products from a server hosted at remote locations subsidized for government taxes. Testing for load with massive amounts of data transfer over the wire was the key scenario in this job. In addition, I gained deep knowledge of SDLC processes and got myself well conversant with the Microsoft work culture and team dynamics.

My primary job involved setting up testing processes, writing test cases, perform manual testing and ensure a high quality product to end customer. Authored the test plan document and all the test cases including reviewing and organizing them into Quality Center by importing the test cases from MS-Excel and Word into Quality Center. Managing all the test cases and defect tracking using Quality Center. Automated test metrics reporting from QC which includes such as a TC execution, defect count and aging.

Personnel Management System was developed in SQL Server 2000 as the backend and Visual Basic 6.0 as the front-end. The system is totally user-friendly and facilitates different types of reports. It deals with employee pay scale information, monthly attendance, and income tax details etc, the system generated monthly P.F, and ESI pays slips and income tax deductions reports etc, with all data validations incorporated in it.
