Synopsis: Integration with POS and SAP ISRetail
The IS retail implementation is done for Titan Industries, for their optical retail chain Titan Power Eye+. This enables a store based retailing system with the POS interfaces integrated to the central SAP IS Retail system. The major functionalities covered are Inquiry Creation, Sales Order Processing, Billing, Sales Returns, and Inventory Management. The POS is essentially a standalone java application at each retail outlet with a local database and communicates to the central system through web services exposed by the XI integration platform. The POS application is developed using Java Swing. All the transaction will be updated in Local Database as well as the SAP Server.
