OVERVIEW
I am currently employed at SGB-CAPE, where I have overseen all legally required scaffold compliance as the appointed Inspector Manager at Kusile Power Station for the past 4 years.
We have over 3000 scaffolds and 7000t material on site. My intent is to now further my career by continuing within the Construction sector in South Africa.
I am also a student at UNISA where I am currently doing my BTech degree in Management. Owing the prestigious reputation that your company enjoys, it is my first choice in this regard
I have accumulated a broad and intricate set of skills while working for construction companies on projects such as the building of two platinum processing plants namely, Two Rivers Platinum (client: DRA) and also Pilanesburg Platinum (client: DRA), a plant extension at Scaw Metals, widening of the N1 highway in Gauteng, golf estate developments and the Gautrain project which required construction of the Gautrian stations and roads built to deviate traffic.
These multimillion rand projects and my involvement have led to an in depth understanding of the unique requirements within a construction environment. This invaluable work experience has also enabled me to meet deliverables and deadlines within a tight schedule, within a personally demanding environment.
These characteristics have shown valuable application during my career.
My senior foreman experience at Sanyati Civil, Liviero Civil and Ruthcon Civil Contractors as well as the knowledge gained while overseeing execution of precision concrete work has reinforced my passion for the building and construction trade.
My personal ethos reflects a responsibility towards cultivating sincere interest in the understanding and appreciation of construction as well as instilling a practical compliance of safety policies.
As a dedicated and hard-working individual with very high standards, I am self-motivated and thus fully commit to pursuing tasks to their completion with determination and precision.
