Network Operations Switch Manager
Manager a team of highly talented switch technicians in 2 markets. Develop team members to perform as informal leaders, independent critical thinking and strong technical engineers to Verizon Wireless high quality of standards. Worked on many C2P conversions, cell site migrations, switch migrations. Worked on new construction of the new Lubbock MTSO while maintaining my eyes on the 2 active switches in Lubbock and Midland. Launched 4G/LTE in Midland and Lubbock markets. Worked closely with Inventory Coordinator to reduce Operations overall spares to reduce inventory cost and maintained accurate accountability of the Inventory system.
DRW (contractor to Verizon Wireless) Fort Smith/Little Rock, AR February 2010 - 2011 Network Operations Tech / Supervisor
Provide technical support, supervision, and technical guidance to in-house switch technicians and cellular technicians in the South Central region. Supervise all MTSO activities, schedules, and ensure completion to Verizon standards. Assist with the introduction and migration of the Packet MSC into the Fort Smith, AR market. Built and tested network trunks pre- and post-cutover for CBSC / MM-II.

Provided Knowledge Transfers (KT) on Nortel hardware / software for the Healthcare Solutions product (Ekahau), running on Windows and Linux-based systems, using Wi-Fi Networks and Enterprise solutions. Developed and delivered KT training courses to a hospital staff, IT, and telecom departments. Performed site surveys using Ekahau products on Cisco WLAN.
Utilized Best Practices to demonstrate root-cause analysis and issue resolution to the IT staff for Nortel Emergency Recover (ER) and first- and second-level support, to fully resolve issues with Nortel’s products.
