Occupational health RN at local refinery clinic. Responsible for illness and injury case management for refinery associates. Assist with annual physical exams and OSHA required audiometry, pulmonary function screenings. Also conduct respirator and earplug fit testing and training for associates. Provide first aid and nursing care per physician-approved protocols. Administer vaccines as indicated.

6/2011 to 3/2015 Baptist Hospital Beaumont, Texas

Serving as RN-Charge in Day Surgery Unit with an approximate daily census of 35 patients ranging in age from newborn to geriatrics. Assigned to work with patients, physicians and other healthcare providers to prepare patients emotionally, physically and psychologically for medical procedures. Held certifications in BLS, ACLS and PALS. Represent the Surgery Department on the Nursing Informatics Council and was actively involved in the development of computerized documentation development.
