Illinois Housing Development Authority, Chicago, Illinois, November 1984 to April 1989. Senior Staff Attorney responsible for approval of the purchase of single family mortgage loans in First Time Home Buyer Program for moderate income persons and families throughout the State of Illinois, review and representation in all legal issues regarding First Time Home Buyer Program, including subsequent defaults, responsible for closing mortgage loans on multi-family housing developments throughout Illinois under the Illinois Housing Development Authority Multi-Family Mortgage Loan Program, closed mortgage loans on real property with a fair market value of approximately one hundred million dollars, negotiating and drafting of various types of contracts, monitoring and representation in litigation, drafting legislation, tax-exempt bond financing, general corporate and managerial legal work for billion dollar corporation.
