RESPONSIBILITY

Review of approved drawings, procedures and Execute Inspections accordingly.

Monitoring preheating, post heating and purging, verification of welding parameter like current, volt, speed, heat input, gas flow as per approved WPS in the welding bay.

Ensuring all the instruments, equipments & machines are calibrated.

Preparation of stage inspection reports at each stage of inspection.

Coordinating Fabricators and Welders for understanding job quality requirement & safety awareness.

Coordinating with Project / Production team to achieve the product on time with quality.

Coordinating with client / TPI for inspections as per ITP and Updating day to day inspection activities.

Carry out Inspections Before, during and after welding stages.

Conducting Dimensional, Hydro & Final Inspection including assembly according to the drawings / standards / specifications.

Carry out weld visual inspection & coordination for NDT / PWHT etc.

Preparing weekly inspection status to review the job.

Preparation of final dossier which involves all documents like stage inspection report, final inspection report, weld summary, NDT reports, PHWT reports etc.

Read the scope of works, Drawing s and all other related documents.

Arrange the Manpower according to the work.

Prepare the fabrication sequence for each job to reduce rework and deliver the job with quality as well on time.

Prepare the daily and weekly work progression chart to evaluate the time, consumables and cost impacts.

Extract the scope of work and prepare the material weight calculation for commercial purpose.

Carried out WQT as per WPS for new welders.

Carried out RT interpretation.
