As QA/QC – Structural some of the duties and responsibilities are listed below but not limited to it:

Basic Functions as Head – QA/QC Structural: Attend Everyday Meeting & Production targets Meeting, Cross checking design document and drawings, Control Quality in My area & boost production output with client requirement, Maintaining Documents for my all activities, Conducting WQT (Welder Qualification Test), Making New WPS, Preparation of painting spec, Preparation of Inspection and Test Plan and Quality Assurance Plan. And Ensure product quality, Control Human resources (Direct and Indirect labor), Ensure better utilization of all resources, Conducting Training for the Supervisors. Basic Functions as QA/QC Engineer: Coordinating Weekly NCR review Meeting, Reviewing Corrective and Preventive plan, Preparing and reviewing of Work instruction and Departmental Procedure, Attending Management Review meeting on every quarter yearly once, conducting internal auditing, organizing training as per Workers training calendar, boost up team for Continual improvement and etc…

Coordination with Client:

Intimating 24hrs Before Client, for inspection, and planning for the next Day inspection with Client. Preparing and submitting Inspection attachment and report for welding, fit-up and painting inspection for client. - Preparation of Procedures like a NDT procedure for in house facilities.

- Preparation of Inspection Test Plan(ITP) and Quality Assurance Plan (QAP)

- Preparation of Procedures for ISO purpose like Work instruction and method statement.

- Preparation of new format for internal inspection and external inspection. Familiar Standards

- AWS Codes (American Welding Society)

- British Standards.

- NSSS.

Better Understanding Knowledge in all kind of Code book, Standards and Specifications. Coordination

- Coordinate with Production Dept. & Project Management for Schedules and Priorities.

- Coordinate with Engineering Department for revisions, drawing clarifications and change in design or connections.

- Coordinate with Preparation department, Fit-up/Welding/Final Hand Over departments for phase closing / project completion.

• Warehouse for Omani Integrated Logistics Services, Barka, Oman. Fabrication and Erection of steel structures.
