Title: Balancing Robot
Objective: To balance a two-wheeled robot by implementation of non- linear control system methods involving full designs, simulations, and assembly of systems.
--- The robot was human size therefore we had to use large motors and wheels.
--- Extensive research and troubleshooting which led to the success of our project.
--- Strong background in sensors such as accelerometers, gyroscopes, encoders and other technologies.
--- Strength in motor designs and controllers.
--- Ability to account and keep records of tests and measurements, storing the information using different softwares. RCC Engineering Showcase 2012
Project: 3D Scanner
Objective: To design and implement an automated 3D scanner that can be used for industrial designing and manufacturing.
--- Designed a user friendly LCD screen using Pic33 microchip
--- Implemented multiple platform support (tablet, smartphone, computer)
--- Incorporated various sensors, lasers and motors to measure the dimensions of the object.
--- Achieved 1st Technical Merit Award
