●Aided in the remodeling of broadcast studio: Setup and verified that all equipment are properly genlock and wired as according to blueprint. Allowing easier and faster diagnostic for future maintenance.
●Tested remodeled broadcast studio: White balancing cameras, Test Pattern evaluated For-A video switcher, and such. Doing so help ensure better broadcast quality.
●Setup station for video recording and broadcasting for multiply shows, such as “2013 Sinovision American Youth Talent and Art Competition”, “2014 Sinovision Teen Talent Show”, “2014 Cultures of China, Festival of Spring". Resulted in more reliable and smoother execution of shows.
●Responsible for monthly after midnight maintenance to ensure all equipment reboot properly and restructure wiring to meet new broadcast requirement for other departments’ needs.
●Troubleshoot AvL Model 2020 PIB 2m flyaway antenna system using Ku band to obtain CNN satellite feed. Antenna system is controlled by TracStar antenna controller.
●Troubleshoot Broadcast Playout systems in event of emergency, such as software or hardware malfunction that causes playout error or blackout, enabling more successful broadcast time.
●Troubleshoot LIVEU Portable Uplink systems when end users have difficulty operating it or hardware damage, allowing more successful Live broadcast.
●Setup and administrate Synology and Thecus NAS for all departments, resulting in smoother and more dynamic workflow in company.
