AUTONOMOUS SELF NAVIGATION ROBOT WITH OBSTACLE AVOIDANCE
ABSTRACT:
In our project, we have developed an autonomous self-navigation robot which follows the provided destination.
In the presence of an obstacle, an algorithm was devised to avoid obstacle and efficiently attain the target in an indoor environment. After comparing different positioning techniques, Wi-Fi based technique was used for estimating Robot position. Trade-offs between finger-printing and parametric methodologies was also determined. Different algorithms for indoor mapping and navigation were studied and heuristic approach was selected.

Attend different vessels offshore/onshore for troubleshooting, servicing, inspection and commissioning of different boiler’s equipment including different valves, actuators, positioners and controllers.
Worked as a field service inspector engineer under supervision of site management.
Inspection of works of installation team.
Assured complete installations of ELV related instruments and systems (CCTV, alarms systems, etc.) as per drawings, required specifications and standards.
Supervised the site technician, inspectors and prepare the necessary job distribution.
Kept inspection records and related data for the progress in order to report to Senior Engineer and Service Manager.

Responsible for the design review of the ELV, Security and Fire Alarm services.
