oMonitor day to day rig operation closely by ensuring that the Rig Contractor and service companies meet all the requirements of contract. Verify and approve all the contractor and service company operations are carried to the standard by way of tour reports and field tickets followed by performance feedback to base.

oAs senior Drilling supervisor executed the day to day rig operation successfully and completed many challenging deep HPHT Gas Wells in all part of Kuwait covering Raudhathin, Sabria & Minakish fields. Ensured accident free operations & successfully completed all the wells to the high standard with negligible NPT.

oProficient in handling stinger cementation with proper sting-in / sting-out techniques for first three casings right from 30’’, 24’’and 18-3/8’’sizes while drilling seven casing policy deep wells in Kuwait Deep Drilling.

oSuccessfully handled the challenging formations like High pressure GOTNIA in Kuwait Deep Drilling where the formation pore pressure starting from 19.5ppg onwards / closer to formation fracture gradient while drill through the combination of SALT & ANHYDRITE for three to four cycle with the thickness of 1200 feet maximum.

oAs a Senior Drilling Supervisor performed an imperative role to run 10-3/4’’liner followed by liner cementation then tie-back 10-3/4’’ liner to surface to isolate the high pressure zone once successful drill through High pressure GONTIA section attains without any well complication in Kuwait Deep Drilling.

oHandled the worst scenario like loss and kick together while drilling high pressure GOTNIA and handled by virtue of bull heading through string as well as annulus till the situation becomes normal in Kuwait Deep Drilling.

oFor effective hole cleaning and minimize the potential for bit balling used RAPID SWEEP polymer stick directly into the drill pipe while making a connection. As the fluid moves down the drill string the polymer stick dissolves and sheers at the bit, resulting in a high-viscosity sweep while use Water base mud in Deep Drilling Kuwait.

oUsed Batch mixing DensCRETE cement with the components of Antifoam (D175), Anti-setting (D153), Fluid loss (D167), Gasblok (D600G), dispersant (D065), Retarder (D198) and Blend with water for more than 17 ppg cement weight for Isolating high pressure GOTNIA section after run 10-3/4’’ liner in Kuwait Deep wells.

oSuccessfully handled the challenging high pressure high temperature (HP HT) formation like MAKHUL, HITH formations in Kuwait deep drilling where the background gas starts increase drastically once enter in to the formations.

oProperly handled total loss scenario in SHUAIBA, NAJMA formations in north Kuwait and went through blind drilling in some occasions after monitoring the well behavior.

oProperly handled total loss formation of UER and SIMSIMA (Limestone) and used Aerated polymer mud to overcome severe losses in 12-1/4’’ section in UAE field.

oUsed Polymer mud from 17-1/2’’ to 12-1/4’’ sections to overcome the expected surface losses and OBM in 8-1/2’’ deviated hole to provide shale inhibition especially long time of exposure and looking good hole condition / able to rotate 7’’ liner to provide good zonal isolation. With the combination of brine and chlorides prepare NDF mud with160, 000 ppm chlorides (to get 74 pcf weight) and used while drill through 6” Horizontal reservoir section in UAE field.

oExposure with application of surface landing system Drill Time Optimization (DTO) on 18-5/8’’casing prior to minimize the wellhead hook up time and avoid waiting on cement overall in Abu Dhabi field.

oUsed Non-dispersed KCL / PHPA / Glycol (KPG) mud system for vertical or near vertical (less than 35 degree inclination) through Nahr Umr shale to provide inhibition and stabilization. Also reduce torque and drag, promote lubricity to minimizing the possibility of differential sticking and maintain the bore hole integrity and help seal the formation micro fractures. For highly deviated hole OBM used to overcome the troublesome shale in UAE field.

oMainly drilled 6’’ Horizontal section with RSS (5.875’’ PD Archer with 4.75’’Short Hop which is communication part of RSS) with the combination of Periscope (LWD tool to identify the bed boundary of resistivity) and MWD for impulse + High resolution image tool and LWD tool for radioactive source for density neutron in UAE field.

oAchieved Maximum ROP of 130 to150 fpm in 6’’Horizontal section by virtue of increase torque limit to maximum 12000 ft-lbs to keep stick and slip under control.

oPerform an imperative role to land 13-3/8’’ Mandrel hanger in place on DTO while run-in 13-3/8’’casing followed by line up return line with Lo-Torque valves from DTO outlet 3’’& 2’’ to shale shaker and cement the 13-3/8’’ casing. Likewise land 9-5/8’’ Fluted type hanger while run-in 9-5/8’’ casing and return line will be from wellhead outlet due to fluted passage. Overall it is confirmed that wellhead hook up time is minimized and no need of waiting on cement.

oSuccessfully completed many Deep HPHT gas Wells with 3 liners and 2 tie-backs for the depth ranges between 17000 ft. to 22000 ft. with seven casing policy right from 30’’, 24’’, 18-5/8’’, 13-1/2’’, 10-3/4’’, 7-5/8’’ and 5-1/2’’ sizes in Kuwait Deep Drilling.

oUsed 18 ” 15K rating BOP with two sets of Choke and Kill line (upper and lower) prior to ensure safe operation. Maximum Mud weight used 22 ppg OBM with 3 No’s of 2200 HP Mud Pump in Kuwait Deep Wells as well as in Myanmar Offshore.

oUsed 6 x 7’’ Bi-center Bit which allows optimum hydraulic configuration with pilot and reamer blade alignment, optimizing cuttings removal to improving ROP comparatively. By virtue of single piece construction when rotates in casing causes pass through diameter will be smaller than drilled diameter, when rotates in open-hole pilot of the bit keeps the string at center and reamer blades are forced to lower side of the bore hole creates more diameter in open hole (The Bi- center bit has got three diameters which are Pilot diameter, Drilled-hole diameter and Pass through or Casing diameter).

oSuccessfully executed 146mm polish mill run into 5-1/2’’ tieback receptacle and polish full length of tieback receptacle until its No Go lands out on top of the LG Settling Collar’s lower section (approximately 1.35 meter).

oAs a Senior Drilling Supervisor performed an imperative role and executed the pull out of completion string 4-1/2’’x 3-1/2’’x 2-7/8’’ EUE connection, Grade P-110 tubing’s assembly to surface after taking proper care in work over operation at Vietnam offshore.

oSuccessfully executed cement dump bailer for a shorter length like 10 meter cement plug on top of explosive Aluminum bridge plug before formation fracturing operation in work over operation at Vietnam offshore.

oSuccessfully executed formation fracturing work and allow propane to settle followed by release of Frac packer successfully in many wells.

oSuccessfully executed running the completion string 2-7/8’’x 3-1/2’’x 4-1/2’’ EUE connection, Grade P-110 tubing’s with 3 ” Gas Lift Mandrel + 3-1/2” Subsurface Safety Valve (SSSV) and control line. Pressures test SSSV in open position to 340 atm.

oAs a Senior Rig Manager performed an imperative role to drill one relief well near blowing well and normalized in Krishna Godavari Project, Rajahmundry, India.

oAs a senior Drilling supervisor performed an imperative role at rig Sagar Samrat Mumbai Off shore and achieved ‘’Best Drilling Off-shore Rig award’’ for minimizing the downtime and optimum utilization of resources (man & material).

oPerformed an imperative role in implementing ISM code for MODU Sagar Samrat jack-up rig and obtained SMS certificate first time for five years validity.

oReduced lost time accidents (LTA) by 30% by implementing extensive job awareness and regular safety drills / training which developed team’s ability and eliminate work hazards.

oSuccessfully executed two-stage oil spotting and freed the stuck string in many occasions against shale as well as sticky clay formations in Upper Assam, India.
